Marking Time

Time is meaningless without context. What does 12PM mean to us? It likely means lunch...or perhaps a chance to run an errand. It might mean the end of the world to someone. But it doesn't mean 12PM.

How do we remember these events? How do we mark this time?

With emotion: with proud elation at the thought of a child's birth. With indignant longing at the memory of a lost loved one. This timepiece is not about the chronicling of occurrence of time, but rather an honoring of our emotional lives.
